A few weeks ago I bought an external hard drive and my first preference was the best ratio between outlook and performance because external hard drives lay out on your desk and gets the maximum exposure around your working space.

The StoreJet is butt-ugly! The ioSafe Solo (http://www.iosafe.com/3) looks much better and has some additional benefits (namely, that it’s water and fire resistant).

Keep in mind. Looks are great, but to me longevity outweigh the looks. I always go with a coolermaster external enclosure and just put an internal drive in them….

They burn the SH$%#T out of it – chuck it in a swimming pool and then recover the data!!!!! LOL that’s crazy.
Quaker Dude – Have you got your hands on one yet? I was hunting for an external hard drive to backup my pictures, saw the video, had to have one, got one and love it! I must say, I was very tempted to launch it off the roof of my house to see how it’d hold out…but bailed out at the last minute (the peeps next door musta’ thought I had lost my mind!). :-p
