Check if Your Computer Support Windows 7 ‘XP mode’ feature or not
Win7′s XP Mode uses VirtualPC to run some XP apps. You can use your old outdated Windows XP programs under Windows 7 by first installing Virtual PC software and then install the desired program under XP mode to make it work under Windows 7. For that your machine has to comply under system requirements needed to use XP mode feature. With Securable you can check your Computer Processor’s feature ‘Hardware Virtualization’ which is necessary to run programs under XP mode.
Securable is a free little windows application. It doesn’t require any kind of installation and tells you if your system is eligible to use Windows 7 ‘XP mode’ feature to install XP compatible softwares. First Download and run Securable and then open ‘securable.exe’ you’ll come up with a window where three results would be shown stating ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ (following screenshot for reference).

Now we have results, you need to see if the third result ‘Hardware Virtualization’ is stating ‘Yes’ then your system will run ‘XP mode’ without any issues. On the other hand if there is red ‘No’ instead of ‘Yes’ then unfortunately you won’t be able to use Windows 7 ‘XP mode’ feature.

Very interesting post, will immediately download the software when i get home. thanks for sharing…
