Check Your Google Analytics Website Stats on your Desktop With Polaris
A few days ago I was searching for free websites statistics tool that supports desktop reporting via software and after a long research I came up with two free utilities and services 1st Woopra which is free until its in beta stage and Reinvigorate its totally free I think. Now after a week I saw this fabulous app called Polaris it works with Google Analytics very famous and useful free website analytic online service and most of the bloggers use it. Well now people using Google Analytics will be able to see their blog or website stats on their desktop with Polaris.
Polaris is Adobe Air based app means you must have to install Adobe Air in order to run Polaris and in my opinion adobe air rocks. Polaris free version works with single site for multiple sites tracking you need to buy a yearly plan for mere 15$/year which is more than affordable to me (compared to other website analytical tools).
According to Polaris website
Polaris is a free download for everyone who manages one website profile. For those who are managing multiple profiles, the upgrade to the full version is $15 / year. Both the free and the full version will get regular free updates with new functionality and features.
Google Analytics recently released API for developers and I personally think that was a necessity because now days there are many website statistics tools that offer desktop clients to view your stat data. However I really miss Live visitor tracking feature in Google Analytics but still I love it for so many reasons the biggest one, they never ask for $ in order to use full version or something like many other Online services do.
