Computer running slow? Fix it with Auslogics BoostSpeed!
This post was written by Liz Vasileva a regular reader of TechieSouls and wanted to contribute in this blog.
Slow startup, even slower shut-down, software, web-pages and even Word documents take forever to load… And the next thing you do is start thinking of getting a new PC. Sounds familiar? If yes, try Auslogics BoostSpeed – an award winning optimization suite from Auslogics. It is a complete package containing 18+ tools, which can help speed up, optimize, and protect your PC. Let’s have a look at what BoostSpeed has to offer.
BoostSpeed Integrator
The first thing you will see when you launch the program is BoostSpeed Integrator. It will prompt you to perform One-Button Checkup, clean the disks, and then defragment them. It provides you with computer optimization and security summary as well.
The task menu on the left features different categories: Computer Clean Up, Optimization, Privacy and Security, Information and Control, and Windows Tools. Also you can view detailed system information if you click the link in the lower left corner.
With BoostSpeed you can modify Windows settings and services to significantly increase system performance, increase startup and shutdown speed, disable annoying CD autorun and error reporting features.
BoostSpeed has a feature called Rescue Center. It provides you with a list of all BoostSpeed modules. You can select or deselect any of them and undo any changes made by the program. BoostSpeed is one of the very few programs that have this option.
Another great feature is BoostSpeed tray icon. The program will monitor your system from the tray, give information on CPU, memory and Internet traffic usage, and will let you know whenever it’s possible to optimize your PC.
BoostSpeed has more than 18 powerful tools, that can help you optimize and speed up your PC.
One-Button Checkup
If you don’t have enough time to go through many tools in Auslogics BoostSpeed, but need a quick fix of major problems, use One-Button Checkup. This safe and fast program will clean and optimize your disk and the registry, as well as protect your computer.
Speed Up Internet
Run Internet Optimizer to adjust your Internet settings for faster downloads and increase browsing speed. Unlike other Internet optimizers, BoostSpeed will check your connection first and apply changes only after that.
Clean Your Disks and the Registry
Free up disk space by getting rid of junk files left by applications and temporary files. You don’t need to worry, because Disk Cleaner will only remove files that are safe to delete.
Follow with Registry cleanup and then defrag both the disks and the Registry. Remember, you can always undo all changes via Auslogics Rescue Center.
Stay Protected
Auslogics PC Security will provide you with computer security summary. But, most importantly, it will disable Windows services that let people access your computer remotely and tamper with it.
Use File Shredder to securely delete files so that they can’t be recovered. After that clean-wipe your free disk space with Disk Wiper to remove any traces of files.
If you don’t want everybody to know your web-browsing habits, run Track Eraser once a day to delete all Internet history.
Optimize Third-Party Software
BoostSpeed can improve performance of different software products, including Microsoft Office, Internet browsers (IE, FireFox, Opera, Chrome, and Safari for Windows), e-mail clients, MSN Messenger, ICQ, Media Player and a lot more.
Uninstall and Startup Manager
Uninstall unnecessary applications and control which application load on startup. Having too many applications loading on startup drastically slows down your computer. Disabling automatic startup of software you don’t need will really boost your startup and shutdown time.
New Tools
Auslogics BoostSpeed 4.2 introduces two new tools – Service Manager and Task Manager.
Service Manager lets even novice users securely manage Windows services. It provides detailed description of each service and precise recommendations on whether it should be disabled or not.
Task Manager will provide comprehensive information about running programs, processes, and Windows services.
Great news for BoostSpeed 4.2 users is that it includes the latest versions of Auslogics’ top rated and extremely popular Disk Defrag and Registry Defrag.
Auslogics BoostSpeed comes with a 15-day free trial period. The price for this software is USD29.95 – a good price for a whole optimization suite. Auslogics is confident with the quality of their software and offer a money back guarantee. Click here to download the trial version.
If you really want to boost your PC’s performance, Auslogics BoostSpeed is the right tool for you!

No shit. ANOTHER all-inclusive fix-it-all tool.
What makes this so special compared to the 1,834,309 other tools?
Ronny,
it’s true that there are a lot of tools that claim to optimize your computer. The question is though which of them really works and, most importantly, works well on YOUR system. I found that BoostSpeed was the best on mine (after trying System Mechanic and TuneUp). So, no shit!
Well, this one actually works. There are probably only 2 or 3 alternatives to this and they all cost more.
