As we all know Christmas is on its way and many websites over the web already implemented blog over’s and made custom logos matching Christmas season with Santa caps, red and white color schemes, wordpress themes for christmas etc so today I show you how you can implement snowfall effect on any page of your website or blog. It’s simple and free.
Snowfall effect is done with a simple javascript its simple and light weight so it’s not heavy on your website or doesn’t slow down your page loading speeds. All you have to do is to download a script package, with it you can enable snowfall and Christmas lights effect. Follow the simple instructions below and let your readers feel Christmas effect while reading your articles.
1. Download Snowfall script package and unzip the archive content in your theme directory like www.yourblog.com/wp-content/themes/the-theme-u-r-using/
2. Open header.php file in some text editor like notepad++ or any editor which supports UTF-8 text encoding, you can find this file in theme’s directory you are using.
3. Place the below javascript reference after <head> tag starts
<script type="text/javascript" src="<?php bloginfo('template_directory'); ?>/script/snowstorm.js"></script>
That’s it Snowfall effect should be working on your blog now, you can customize some properties even more further like snowfall speed control, flakes type, follow mouse etc. To see all customizable properties visit Author’s page.

Very Happy Christmas to all my readers

i used to have trouble getting scripts like this to work. i remember it taking hours of banging my head against a wall, just to get it to work. thanks for the tips
cool
I have seen things like this a lot lately, usually on a professional site.
While these are fun, and go well on personal blogs, sites about your cat, etc. They are far from welcome on professional sites as they tend to carry an amateurish overtone.
Still, nice script! Just use wisely!
how to put this on Blogger?
