I love how mac looks but unfortunately i dont a mac pc, so i wanted mac like dock in windows which contains installed software and other shortcuts for easy access rite on desktop, with RocketDock you can put a beautiful Dock on desktop which will hold a lot of shortcuts for your easy access, and it looks really cool too when you hover your mouse you can have a zoom effect which kills ;)

RocketDock is freeware utility which allow you to put a beautiful and eye candy dock on your windows based desktop which can hold as many shortcut icon as much you put in it, rocketdock let you customize so many things to match your needs such as quality of icons image if you dont have a good gfx resources you set them at average, opacity level you can set opacity of dock background to suit you and size of zoom when you hover over dock is also available to customize and 3 different zoom styles are also available you can also set the size of zoom, you can also set screen position and style the dock too with many many dock backgrounds in it and you can change font and font color of icons text as well, when you click on some shortcut it also animate and different animations styles are also available, you can put any shortcut in it by just dragging and dropping and change icon .png or .ico you can use stardock object dock docklets with rocketdock such as clock and weather docklets

    hell yeah it runs flawlessly on xp, vista, w2k give it a go its not a big deal only 6mb or your bandwidth will be consumed ;)

  10. i use stardock .. much better than this one ..

    but apple uses a dock like interface in place of taskbar .. you know . botom of the screen .. i would LOOVEE to get a dock software that has icons for everything else PLUS my notification area .. i’ve done a lot of search on dock softwares but none show icons on the notification area .. whle mac doesn’t have one .. anyone wud agree that you cant use a windows platform without using a lot of systembar..

    umm yeh stardock is good but 2 main reasons i use rocketdock over stardock
    1. stardock is not free.
    2. its more than double heavier on resources compared to rocketdock
